I started writing, really writing, years ago when it was brave to simply say, “I don’t feel calm and happy all of the time and I think I’m a little different from people in that regard.” I wrote about my sensitivities and about anxiety and panic, and being an SLP, and finally about trauma.
I stopped writing once my kids were born and I didn’t have much time anymore. But I always hope I’ll find my way back.
I’m mostly on instagram now (@organizedbabble), with SLP, parenting, and mental health content. Come connect with me there!

Hi. Thanks for coming over to my blog. Your stream of consciousness posts are great. Looking forward to reading more. This sentence right here “I would read all day, every day. I love coffee, not for the caffeine, but for the taste. Music speaks to me”, if I wrote that about myself, nobody who knows me would bat an eyelid! Awesomely put. Abbie :-)
Hiya. I have nominated you for the Liebster Award. You can find out about it over on my blog. A
Love your blog! Thank you for reading and commenting on my blog. And THANK YOU for adding me to your ‘bloggers I adore’ list! I’m so honored :) <3 ~melissa
I truly do adore every single thing you write! I love feeling like there are other bloggers out there who “get” me, despite not even knowing me in real life! <3
Hi, I love your blog. I was wondering, how did you become a speech-language pathologist? I’m considering it as a possible career.
Hope you have a great weekend.
